First Frost

There was frost on the deck this morning, though by the time I got up it was already 35 degrees Fahrenheit. And the sun was warm later in the day.

  1. As you know we beat you to the first frost which was a shock to me considering your location.

I have a problem thought I'm caught in the middle---when its warm temps I work in the fahrenheit scale of things and I know what the temp is

But when it's cold I work in celcius side of things so what is 35 degrees Fahrenheit in celsius??

That's what happens when they change from imperial to metric when you are young, you are caught in the middle of both scales thus lost.

  2. You aren't that far south of us. We're just slightly north of Oslo and Stockholm.

    32°F = 0°C

    So 35°F is about 2°C

    To convert Fahrenheit into Celsius

Subtract 32, multiply by 5 and divide by 9
